About Sahwan

A space that doesn't rush you through the day

Sahwan was born from a simple observation: the best moments in a neighborhood happen at the intersection of routine and surprise. We wanted to build a place where showing up for your morning coffee could quietly become the highlight of your week — and where staying a little later felt entirely natural.

Located on Stratton Street in Queens, we operate as both café and bar without apology. The same attention to detail that goes into our pour-over in the morning is what shapes our cocktail program at night. Nothing invented. Nothing rushed. Just a space that respects your time and your taste.
